The MSFA sponsors an annual Miss Fire Prevention Contest at the Annual Convention. The individuals selected will represent the MSFA at fire prevention, public education, and other activities throughout the State of Maryland, acting as spokespersons for fire prevention and fire safety activities.

There will be a program during the MSFA Miss Fire Prevention Contest, where current Fire Prevention title holders from across the state of Maryland can be recognized and presented with a certificate for their hard work and dedication to promoting fire prevention.
