The Maryland State Firemen’s Association regretfully announces the passing of Safer Grant Administrator Daniel H. “Skip” Mahan, Jr., of the Community Fire Company of Perryville. Skip also served the MSFA as Co-Chair of the Training Committee 2007-2010, Vice-Chair 2010-2011. He was inducted into the MSFA Hall of Fame in 2011.

This past week our company lost an amazing brother, leader, mentor, friend & so much more.
Mr. Daniel “Skip” Mahan, Jr. Let us all come together to honor and pay tribute to the life of an amazing man.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25,2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Pleasant View Baptist Church located at 150 Downin Lane, Port Deposit, Maryland 21904.
Visitation will also be held on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services to commence at 11:00 a.m. at The Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Interment will follow at St. Marks Church Cemetery located at 175 St. Marks Church Road, Perryville, Maryland 21903.
