President Joel McCrea has scheduled his next meeting of the Executive Committee of the Maryland State Firemen's Association for Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20, 2022. The meeting will be held at the Community Volunteer Fire Department of Bowley’s Quarter, 900 Bowley’s Quarter Road, Middle River. MD. The meeting will be called to order at 10:00 a.m.
For those desiring to stay overnight, arrangements have been made at the Holiday Inn Express, 10542 Philadelphia Road, White Marsh, Maryland. Call Holiday Inn Express at 410-282-2200. There has been a special rate of $89.00 plus tax per night. To receive the special rate, you’re your reservations prior to February 18th and also advise the hotel that you are with the Maryland State Firemen’s Association.
A “Welcome Reception” is planned for Friday Evening at the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company, 10331 Philadelphia Road, White Marsh, MD between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Come by and enjoy yourself and have a chance to mingle with all.
A Hot Breakfast will be offered for a fee by the Bowley’s Quarter Auxiliary on Saturday, March 19th and Sunday, March 20th a Continental Breakfast will be provided starting at 0830 hours, prior to the start of the meeting. Bowley’s Quarter Auxiliary will be serving a hot lunch on Saturday for a fee and sandwiches on Sunday.
Remember - All Committee Chairs, Organizations and Agencies are reminded that your reports must be sent electronically to the Secretary’s Office at report@msfa.org no later than March 12th You are also requested to have fifteen (15) copies of your report prepared for distribution prior to your reporting time and should be turned into the Secretary’s Office as soon as possible.
As in the past, any budget request must be submitted to Chairman Stephan Cox at budget@msfa.org.
