- The draft VCAF application must be reviewed and approved by the regional representative by no later than July 07, 2024. If the company fails to complete the draft application by the deadline, the application will be disqualified.
- No new online VCAF loan applications will be opened after July 11, 2024
- Opened online applications must be submitted no later than July 16, 2024
- VCAF Committee will meet on July 28, 2024, to hear testimony from applicants (Company representatives), deliberate as a committee, and vote in favor of, or in opposition to forwarding the application(s) to the MSFA Executive Committee for MSFA approval.
- The VCAF Chair will present approved applications to the MSFA Executive Committee during their August 17, 2024 meeting. The Executive Committee will review loan requirements, deliberate as a committee, and vote in favor of, or opposition of forwarding the application(s) to the Maryland Board of Public Works (Governor, Treasurer, and Comptroller) for final approval.
- Maryland Board of Public Works will likely review and vote in favor of, or opposition of VCAF loan approvals at their October 2024 meeting.
Please note that the MSFA is only accepting VCAF loan applications for fire, rescue, and EMS apparatus and equipment during this application period. No grant or facility applications will be accepted during this application period.
