The Westminster Volunteer Fire Department celebrates 200 years of service and dedication to the City of Westminster and the greater Carroll County district in 2023. As you can imagine, we are very excited about this milestone in our history and look forward to celebrating it with the community.
The year of festivities will culminate with a parade and fire muster on October 7, 2023. We want to invite you to participate in this exciting event. At 9:00 AM on October 7, 2023, the parade lineup will begin at 60 Monroe Street, Westminster, MD 21157. The parade will start at 10:00 AM and follow the typical Westminster City parade route down Pennsylvania Avenue to Main Street. Following the parade, a fire muster of antique fire trucks and displays will be stationed at the Westminster Volunteer Fire Department at 28 John Street, Westminster, MD 21157.
